Process Operation: Pasteurization temperature control (by PID controller) and flow rate(by mechanical flow controller in case of milk pasteuriser) will be automatic. Flow will be diverted automatically with alarm if temp is below the past temp. Sequencing of production, sanitisation and CIP will be manual. Detergent addition in the balance tank and concentration monitoring will be manual. Utilities Required ( Approx): Steam at 3 bars : 84kg/hr Chilled water : 10000 LPH (.2.5 – 7 C) Approx. Total powers :6.5 kW, (3.7 kW Prod. Pump+Hot water Pump+Booster Pump) 415V, 3 PH, 50 Hz Process water: 6000 LPH during CIP CIP flow : 6000 LPH Instrument Air, 6bar : 625 NL/Hr.

5. Holding tube will be designed for the specified holding time considering the CIP cleanability and fastest particle velocity. MOC is SS304. Holding tube will be made up of imported pipes and Alfa Laval fittings to match the internal surfaces get the best hygienic construction. It is designed between the bottom of the Holding Coil till the temp sensor controlling FDV. It will design for 5 min .. 1 Sets
6. New Generation Hot water system New Generation improved Hot water system will be THE based and will house a Stainless steel expansion vessel and other safety devices to take care of the volume expansion and increased pressure 1 Set
It consists of the following components:
• Tubular Heat Exchanger with SS316 inner tubes and SS304 outer shell.
• Specially developed Stainless steel Expansion vessel, to take care of volume increase of hot water in the system,
• Uniquely designed Pressure relief cum Safety Valve, to let excess water from the system and maintain required pressure,
• Air vent, to vent air from the hot water system as it will disturb the Temperature control,
• Pneumatically controlled Steam control valve, ................. make with I/P converter and Air filter/pressure regulator.
• Water make up valve, to initially fill the system, internals in SS 304, ..............make.
• Steam trap, bypass Piston Valve- type,  ................make, shut off valve.
• Steam filter Y type strainer
• Centrifugal pump, all wetted parts in SS316L, SMS with VFD connections with single shaft seal with motor. • E&H make product flowmeter
• Air Pressure Regulator cum Moisture separator with Isolating Valve. 
7. Control panel • MOC: SS 304, Duly pre-wired and tested, & consists of the following Instruments and Controls:
• PLC ............. make for controlling the temperature of the product and the control the operator selected sequence using operator interface (HMI).
• Alarm/Hooter with `reset’ switch to announce diversion of Milk.
• 1 No ON/OFF lockable switch with indicating lamp for incoming supply from `Mains’.
• Air Pressure Regulator with moisture separator
• 20% spare I/O shall be provided in PLC.
• Panel shall be two compartments where one section shall be power Panel and second section shall be control Panel.
• Alarm/ hooter with reset switch to be activated in case the Past milk pressure drops less than the pressure of raw milk/coolingmedium/heating medium and past milk shall divert to balance tank in auto mode.
• Auto/ manual selection switch only and forced forward flow provision shall not be provided. • Incoming on/ off switch for control supply.
• LAPP cables to consider
• All Power and control cables (from power panel to all field equipments) of suitable size according to motor ratings shall be 1 No in vendor scope.
 8. 9. CPM Valve- Pneumatic CPV valve#1No After chilling section CPV to install to maintain higher pressure in milk side compare to chilled water side. Location of CPV valve shall be 31cm above the high level of raw milk line feeding to balance tank. . 1 No.
10. Thermowell –2 nos to be welded before two FDV 2 No 11. Temperature transmitters & sensors -10 sets and thermo couples-2No : Temperature transmitters (Radix make) with probes and suitable Copper conductor LAPP cable of 1 sq. mm. size will have temperature transmitters 4-20 ma signal to controller for all above thermo-wells Except at two places thermocouples to be placed, first near the temp. Sensor controlling FDV in vertical direction and second as spare 1 Set.
Thermocouple to be placed post cooling PHE to verify the cooling temp sensor functioning periodically. Temp control arrangement for control of Pasteurization temp together with pneumatic type PID control steam valve is to be provided to ensure pasteurization temperature of product and outlet temperature of product. If required temp. of product is not reached, the flow of the product shall be automatically diverted to balance tank with audible alarm. FDV shall be controlled by atleast two temp sensors at holding coil outlet.(This shall provide additional safety in case of any failure of temp sensor)
12. Scada with License- MIS Format followed as per ...........(PC is in .......... Scope).PC specification to be followed as per .............. Guidelines.(optional ) Please refer to CIP offer. 1 Set
13. Pressure Monitoring System-To check the Positive pressure on Port side .Pressure transmitters provide the 4-20 mA signal which can used in a hardwired DP (differential Pressure) controller that will generate an alarm 2+2 No.
