Skimmed Milk Powder Conveying System
(This will be used to take out the powder from the outlet of sifter).

1.3 Air Filter

Type : HEPA
For cleaning of the drying air prior to heating. The unit will be provided with panels with number of filter cells and SS housing with frames including HEPA filter mats. The filter mats will be made of special fibre and washable to supply pre and fine filtered drying air.
1st Stage- 10 micron
2nd stage- 3 micron
3rd stage – 0.3 micron (High-Efficiency Particulate Air- HEPA)

1.4 Dehumidifier

Dehumidifier would be supplied with the plant to bring down the temperature and humidity of conveying air to desired level. The dehumidifier would be fabricated out of SS tubes and aluminum fins. The dehumidifier would have two sections namely cooling section and heating section.

1.5 Conveying Duct

This will be used to transfer the powder to the storage silo.

1.6 Storage Silo
Quantity : 2 Nos.

1.7 Rotary Discharge Valve
Quantity : 2 Nos.

Application: To discharge of fines powder collecting at cyclone separators.
The rotary valves would be of stainless steel. Supply is inclusive of geared motor.

1.8 Cyclone Separator
Quantity : 1 No.

To separate the powder from the exhaust drying air with tangential air inlet, centre tube and detachable cyclone top with tangential air outlet and removable cover on top for cleaning and inspection. All welded seams will be polished internally and externally to give a surface finish corresponding to 150 grit and also the total external and internal surface. It is also equipped with electromagnetic hammer.

1.9 Rotary discharge valve

1.10 Exhaust Blower
Quantity : 1 No.

Application: For suction of air powder mixture from the drying chamber through the cyclones and to discharge the exhaust air to atmosphere.
The unit will be complete with totally closed fan cooled motor and V-belt drive with safety guard. The fan will be of centrifugal type with statically and dynamically balanced impeller and mounted on a shaft supported by ball bearings. The housing will be provided with an inspection door and a drain.
The fan and motor will be assembled on a common base frame.
It is equipped with VFD for controlling for RPM of motor.

1.11 Vibro Shifter
Capacity : 2500 kg/hr

1.12 Metal detector
Quantity : 1 No.

This will be used to detect the metal present in the powder, if so then divert the flow of the powder.

1.13 Connecting “Y” Duct

This will be used to connect between two storage silos and outlet will be connected to vibro sifter.

A control system for powder conveying and storage system will be incorporated in combine control panel for milk powder plant.
It is also equipped with necessary pneumatic valve for controlling the flow of powder.

1.15 MCC Panel

Functional requirements: To receive, control and distribute electrical power at 415+_10% V. 50 Hz, 3 phase AC in a sheet steel housing.
An additional control panel for above equipment will be provided. It is also equipped with necessary cable and cable tray.
