Milk Silo 60KL Vertical Specification

Cylindrical with Inner Shell being 3600 mm

dia and 6250 mm cylindrical height. Inner

Shell being fabricated from 3 mm thk SS 304,

slopping Bottom and Conical Top fabricated

from 4 mm thk SS 304.

Inner Shell is stiffened with MS I-section

externally and supported on MS I-Sectional

structure with base plate. Inner Shell is

insulated with 1 Layer of 25 mm thk Fiber

Glass / Rockwool mat and 2 layers of 40 mm

thk Polyeurethene, thus making total

insulation to approx. 100 mm all around the

Shell. The Top Cone is insulated with 120

mm thk Insulation. Insulation is covered with 2

mm thk SS 304 Sheet for Shell Portion and

Conical Top Portion. The Silo will be provided

with the following accessories:

a) 1 No. Alcove in SS 304 of Size 1800 x 1500

mm and 900 mm Depth.

b) 1 No. Elliptical Manhole of Size 380 mm x 510 mm

c) 1 No. Outlet of 76 mm dia with 2 way

Butterfly Valve.

d) 1 No. Thermometer Pocket

e) 1 No. Level sensing flange with blind cover.

f) 1 No. Spray Ball connection for Inner

cleaning of Manhole covers and Propeller Agitator

g) 1 No. Propeller type side entry Agitator

coupled to 750 RPM Motor, complete

with SS Shroud.

h) 1 No. Overflow of 76 mm dia with overflow

pipe upto bottom.

i) 1 No. Cipable Airvent of 450 mm dia

complete with Tray and Provision for

fixing the rope ladder if required.

j) 1 Set. SS Ladder with cage and SS Railing on the

Top with kick plate.

All Internal surfaces will be polished to

220 G and external surfaces to be 180 G.
